Jerry Goffe
Photography has been Jerry Goffe's professional career and personal passion for
40 years. This evolution began in architectural and engineering, and then
commercial / illustrative photography. His photographs have appeared in Sunset
Magazine, The Mountain Mail, Architectural Forum, Audubon Society, Smithsonian,
El Defensor Chieftain, National Geographic, Sierra Club and many other
magazines. Working closely with Canon in his instructional workshops, and as a
member of Canon Professional Services, he hones his skills using the
latest camera equipment available.
Jerry volunteers at the famous Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico as well as serves as a board member of their friends’ organization. This opportunity allows Jerry to bring his appreciation closer to home and gives him the opportunity to nurture this passion. Jerry takes great joy in sharing the beauty and splendor of wildlife and nature through his images and by his informal and interactive instructional workshops. His yearly Alaskan and Costa Rican trips have inspired him on a photographic and personal journey. Pursuing this enthusiasm for nature and wildlife photography has brought forth a spiritual quality in Jerry and his work. Jerry’s latest exhibit by invitation is on the fifth floor gallery at UNM hospital. His work is also displayed at the Nob Hill Gallery on Montgomery, The Range on Wyoming and Socorro Springs Brew Pub, to mention a few.
